So here it is, the one piece of advice over all others.

Find a way. That’s it.

With the 100s of people I have worked with over 27 years, the ones that really reach their goals and beyond are the ones that always find away, not an excuse.

We all have life pressures, a day may be rammed with work, family etc but that person who finds away to get the session done is the person who will top out.

Excuses, reasons and justifications won’t make you stronger, but finding a way will.

Now the above applies if you are looking to achieve anything that means you are way out of your comfort zone.

So next time you are about to make an excuse, pause and think can I find a way.

Do the things that make you happy!

Heading out into the mountains in winter (preferably with skis) is my joy bringer, just me and a goal. Doing the research, checking conditions, making sure I’m in shape both physically and psychologically and then going for it.

My work is another massive joy bringer, take this weekend gone. 2 amazing ladies achieving awesome goals

@mrs_fearne and I don’t get out on our skis enough together and we definitely don’t get enough days like this.

But when we do, I just love it. When winter arrives I live on my skis and sharing with great friends makes it even better but chilling on the planks with my amazing wife, just tops out the feeling.

Here’s to more of these days, plus one more.

Both Lhotse and I happy to take a pause on a morning run, just to soak up the sunrise.

My early mornings are swinging back to more runs again, as temperatures drop Huskies naturally want more exercise, I’ve loved our first few runs, more than any I have been doing on my own. Feels like zero pressure, we are both just going out to calm ourselves down before the world wakes up.

Thank you to Lhotse, giving some joy back big guy.

(Oakley has served many years of giving the morning run joy, he now likes a lay in, followed by a gentle walk, I may get there as well one day, just not yet!)
